Making good pipe organs is a necessity for a pipe organ company to be successful

There are many musical instruments that play music notes in different ways. Some, like the guitar, are string instruments. And others, like the piano, use keys and hammers to make music. But there are some other instruments which can make music with the help of pressurised air. The methods in which these instruments use the air to make music may be different, but they are essentially of the same type. A pipe organ company would be the one which would manufacture a pipe organ.

One aspect of pipe organs is that you the musician, known as the organist, would be able to select which pipe the air should go to with the help of a keyboard. Using a mechanism called a stop he or she would be able to create music with the help of the air and the pipes. Each pipe would generate a different because every pipe differs in its length and shape. 

The length mainly influences the resulting pitch. The longer the pipe that is made by the pipe organs company, the lesser is the pitch. The organist would be using a combination of different pipes to produce the desired music from the organ. So, depending on what pipes are engaged by the organist, you would be able to hear different tones of music.
